Hello, My name is Henry and I’m 9 years young, please do not let my age put you off I’m a very friendly happy boy who loves fuss and affection, and I’m looking for my forever home. I have a healed wound just below my nose but this is all healed and does not affect me at all.

Gemima & Digby, 6 & 3yrs, Twickenham

Gemima and Digby are a lovely Lop pair at Animal Rescue and Care. Gemima is 6 years old, Digby is 3 years. Gemima (black) and Digby (ginger) are a very friendly bonded pair of bunnies who will be rehomed together. Gemima is in fact the Grandmother of Digby. They come from a hoarder situation. Digby has no front teeth so his food will need to be chopped into little pieces for him to eat. These two will make wonderful family pets.

Aleki and Diggan are a pair of bunnies at TAG Pet Rescue. Aleki is 5 years old and came into rescue because her owner was moving. Diggan is a handsome grey and white bunny who has become good friends with Aleki and they adore each other.

Mr Stripey is a 6 year old boy at Animal Rescue and Care. Mr Stripey has come to ARC looking for love in his twilight years. Although he is 6 years old he is a very active and curious bun. He is very fluffy so his new owner will have to take time to groom him to ensure his beautiful white fur is kept in tip top condition.

Bear & Esme, 6 & 3yrs, Reading

Bear and Esme are at Reading Rabbit Rescue. Bear & Esme came into rescue due to a change in personal circumstances of their previous owners. Both rabbits are neutered & have up to date vaccinations. They have been together since April 2010 & must be re-homed together. Bear was born in March 2008 & is a lionhead cross, whilst Esme is approx 3 years old.

Gertie & Brian, 5 & 2yrs, York

Brian and Gertie are a pair of bonded rabbits at Acomb Rabbit Rescue. Brian is a 2 year old French lop and Gertie is a 5 year old agouti female. They came to the rescue as their previous owners are emigrating. They're friendly buns (although Gertie did not want to join in the photo shoot!) and Brian particularly loves a nose rub. They're both healthy, neutered and vaccinated. They would be happy to live indoors or out, but they need a lot of space due to the size of big Brian. Ideally free range of a room/house or a shed with an attached run.

Bonnie is a 5 year old French Lop doe at Cuddly Critters. She came to us after being kept in a tiny hutch. She can be a little grumpy so needs an experienced home.

Timmy, 5yrs, Sunderland

Timmy is a 5 year old Netherland Dwarf at Pawz for Thought. He had some urine burns on his legs when he first came in which have cleared up nicely and is suffering for a little arthritis. Despite this, he is full of life and enjoys binkying around the garden. He is quite confident and is not scared of cats, in fact he will quite happily go over and check them out! He has a funny little character and if he is not happy with something he will give you a little grunt to let you know. A loveable old man looking for a retirement home to spend his forever days.

Pancake & Butch, 6yrs, Middlesex

Pancake and Butch are both 6 years old at RSPCA North West Middlesex. Butch (the agouti) and Pancake (the chinchilla) have been together for a while now and they have become such a sweet ‘couple’ who snuggle up together when it’s cold and give each other a wash in parts they can’t reach themselves. Butch is a cool rabbit with lots of personality; he is a big lazy oaf who spends most of the day just chilling out but occasionally will have a burst of energy and run full speed to the top of the garden and back again. He is easily approached and happy being stoked and will take food from your hand. Pancake is quite an independent rabbit; she likes to do her own thing and will happily potter around the garden to see what’s going on. She will occasionally hop over to see you but will soon be on her way again to see what else she can find. She is a bit better about being picked up than Butch but still isn’t desperately keen on it.

Lola is a 7 year old Netherland Dwarf doe at Cuddly Critters. She is a little hormonal but fine once settled. She came to rescue as her owner is moving abroad.

Penny & Storm, 6 & 4yrs, West Midlands

 

Penny (left) and Storm (right) are a bonded pair at Fat Fluffs. Penny is a friendly little girl, she is braver than Storm and quicker to investigate new things. She has a beautiful long mane which we sadly had to clipper because it had grown very matted so her new family will have to comb it for her to help keep it knot free. Storm is a shy but friendly bun. On first introduction to the garden he was a little uncertain but soon found his paws and was bouncing around seeing what Penny was up to. He is a little overweight at the moment but with a good diet and plenty of exercise he will soon shift the few excess lbs.
