Sophie, 5yrs, Glasgow

Sophie is a 5 year old girl at Fairly Beloved Rabbit Care. Sophie is a medium sided, sticky up eared bunny. She unfortunately recently lost her lifetime buddy, The BFG, who passed away following a short illness. She is a super intelligent and active bunny who liked to lead the way with any shenanigans that the two of them got up to. She is the self appointed chief investigator and likes to scout out new spaces. She was the BFG’s protector and took her job very seriously so she can be a little bit territorial until she gets to know you and realises that you won’t hurt her or her buddy. She is also a foodie but likes to work off those calories with lots of running and investigating. Sophie is very very smart!! She loves problem solving and was the first to figure out how the cat flap works so that she could go from their shed to their big run. She loves forage bags and toilet roll tubes stuffed with hay and treats but instead of tossing them about until the contents fly out everywhere like most rabbits do, she prefers to nibble out a neat little hole and eat them in a very calm and ladylike manner. Sophie is an incredibly friendly and gentle bunny and loves interacting with people and getting nose rubs and cuddles, although if you’re in her way while she’s investigating something she will give you a wee nudge with her nose to tell you to get out her way. Investigating is very important business you know! Sophie is litter trained and has no known health problems but doesn’t appreciate being rushed.

Ruben, 5yrs, Hertfordshire

Ruben is a 5 year old boy at Rabbit Residence Rescue. Ruben is an adorable small boy, he loves playing out on the grass, He came to us with fear aggression which is has thankfully overcome, however because of this we feel he would be best suited to a calm adult only home. He was previously paired with one of our permanent residents who recently passed away, he is now looking for a new wifebun and a spacious forever home with supervised access to a secure garden.

Hazel and Fiver are a 6 and 9 year old pair at Raystede Animal Rescue. They are best friends and can often be found exploring their garden together. Hazel and Fiver haven''t had the best life so far, they are both overweight and in poor condition, with a bit of TLC and time they will be in tip top condition. They are looking for a loving home together.

Zodiac & Diego, 8 & 3yrs, Hertfordshire

Zodiac and Diego are a pair at Rabbit Residence Rescue. Zodiac is 8 years and Diego is 3 years. Zodiac is beautiful Rex rabbit with the softest fur, she is less confident that Diego but still enjoys a nose rub. Diego loves attention; they both love to play and graze in our Binky area. They would like a home where they could have supervised free range time in the garden. Sadly Diego is EC positive and has a slight head tilt; this means that they would need to be the only rabbits in the home.

Archie, 8yrs, Somerset

Archie is an 8 year old boy at Happy Landings Animal Shelter. He had always lived outdoors as a single bunny, totally isolated from other bunnies, but we have found he really enjoys the companionship of having other bunnies around and feel he would benefit from a retirement home with bunny friends – even if they are neighbouring rather than living in with him.

Erika is a 5 year old girl at RSPCA Bryn-y-Maen Animal Centre. Whilst in foster Erika has shown that she is a lovely, happy and lively rabbit. Her character has completely changed now that she has lots of company and more space to explore. Erika loves running around the house and jumping up on things but she also likes to be fed treats and will tolerate being picked up for short periods.

Rainbow and Rita are a pair of 5 year old girls at SESAW. These sisters are quite friendly and need a home together. They are not small rabbits, and would need a shed or suitable sized hutch and run if to be kept outside.

Sammy and Hutch are a 5 year old pair at Hula Animal Rescue. They love spending time with people they know, but they are shy around new people. So they are looking for someone who will give them time and space to settle. They do need more time spent being handled as they still try and run away from you, but once they are in your arms they soon settle.

Anthem and Albion are a 6 year old pair at Rabbit Residence Rescue. A stunning unusual coloured pair of rabbits, sadly surrendered to us in March 2017 due to their owners divorce and her subsequently having to move in with another family member. Both Albion and Anthem are happy to hand feed from you and do enjoy attention, they are a cheeky pair who are great fun. Anthem has recently had a couple of lumps removed but the pair are otherwise healthy, however any new owners would need to be able to monitor him in case any lumps reoccur.

Roger and Penny are a 7 year old pair at RSPCA Surrey, Woking & District. This might be a challenge but I am sure it can be done Meet foster buns Roger and his lop eared friend Poppy who, although a little older (7 years old) are looking for a new home together. These two are exceptionally tame and easy to handle having had a good home before but unfortunately their owners circumstances have changed and sadly this means Roger and Poppy need somewhere new to live.

He loves running around and is a pleasure to watch and be around especially when he is posing to show off his good looks. He is a friendly rabbit who enjoys attention especially from our rehoming coordinator, Jackie, who has a soft spot for him!

Bee and Bumble are a 7 year old pair at Furry Friends Animal Rescue. Bumble and Bee have boomeranged in and out of homes their whole lives. They were recently returned to rescue due to no fault of their own. They are now elderly bunnies, and their next home will be their 5th. Luckily they don't seem distressed about the move at all - I think they are used to me by now! Bumble isn't too bothered about humans, and prefers his wife, Bee over everything. Bee can be a bit grumpy at times, so we are looking for an understanding, forever home for these two.

Kotton and Robby are a 4 and 5 year old pair at Rabbit Residence Rescue. Kotten and Robby came into us as there owner became very ill and was unable to continue to care for them. They are an adorable pair who are affectionate and easy to handle, they would be happy to live in a home with calm children. As they are fluffy bunnies they will need someone who is happy to regularly groom them and would probably be most suited to living as house rabbits or in sheltered outdoor accommodation.

Flora and Fauna are a 5 year old pair at Raystede Animal Sanctuary. Flora is brown and black and Fauna is the black bunny. They are sisters and best friends so must be adopted together. Flora and Fauna are lovely girls who enjoy their food. Flora is more outgoing and adventurous and Fauna is more laid-back and shy.

Tilly & Terry, 5yrs, Chesterfield

Tilly and Terry are a 5 year old pair at RSPCA Chesterfield. These two rabbits have evidently endured pronounced hardship prior to entering our care (Terry has a cataract in one eye, and is missing the nails on his hind feet) but, in spite of all the troubles that life has thrown at them, they bear no grudge – if you pick Terry up he, almost literally, wraps his tiny paws around you and gives you a squeeze! They would be well within their rights to fear and recoil from people after what they have been through and yet, first thing in a morning, they will come running over to see you. It’s as though they are eternally grateful for every slight hint of affection that they are shown.

Buttons and Bramble are a 6 and 5 year old pair at Raystede Animal Sanctuary. Buttons is a 6 year old neutered male Himalayan and Bramble is a 5 year old spayed female dwarf lop. Buttons is almost completely deaf and blind and Bramble takes care of him so they muse be homed together. They are very loving rabbits who enjoy napping together and sitting in the sunshine, they would like an outdoor home with lots of space to run as they are still very active rabbits. Buttons and Bramble are looking for a home with experienced rabbit owners.

Baloo is a 5 year old boy at Freshfields Animal Rescue. Gorgeous Baloo has unfortunately found himself back at the rescue, minus his bunfriend. Sadly she passed away recently, however his owner then found a stray who she hoped to pair with Baloo. It did not go to plan as the stray turned out to be a male! So now this stunning bun is looking for his new forever home & forever bun friend. Baloo is a friendly rabbit (even thought he can look a bit grumpy) & has already won over all the staff & volunteers!

Pippy & Teal, 6 & 7yrs, Hertfordshire

Pippy and Teal are a 6 and 7 year old pair at Rabbit Residence Rescue. They really enjoy attention and are even happy to receive treats and head rubs from people they have never meet before. Like many rabbits these two like to be high up, they can often be found snoozing together on top of their dog kennel or running around and snacking on grass in one of our binky areas. Pippy's fluffy coat does require some grooming and they would need to be the only rabbits in the home as they are EC positive.

Jimmy & Bella, 5yrs, Biggin Hill

Jimmy and Bella are a 5 year old pair at Foal Farm Animal Rescue. Jimmy arrived at Foal with his friend Bella due to their last owners not having enough time for them anymore and wanted them to have a better life with a family who will spoil them and treat them well. Both bunnies are lovely natured and quite inquisitive, they will both come over to you and say hello but Jimmy (black dwarf) comes across as the more confident one being around people, happy to be stroked and groomed. Whereas Bella is a little more laid back and makes you work for her love. They are now on the lookout for a new loving family who can offer lots of attention and interaction with a large enclosure so they can exercise and stay fit and healthy.

Snowbell, 6yrs, Yorkshire

Snowbell is a 6 year old girl at Acomb Rabbit Rescue. She's vaccinated against myxomatosis and VHD1 and will be spayed and vaccinated against VHD2 before adoption. To adopt Snowbell you must be able to provide a minimum of a 6ft hutch with a permanently attached 6ft run, or a minimum of a 6ft x 6ft pen to house her in at night as an indoor bun. Snowbell would like a home where she can be bonded to a neutered male rabbit.

Babbit, 5yrs, Manchester

Babbit is a 5 year old boy at the Society for Abandoned Animals. I have always been an indoor bunny and whilst at the sanctuary I have been a very quiet lad so should be no trouble. Unfortunately I have some health issues so I will probably need long term painkillers but I am a good lad and not difficult to medicate. I will need an owner who can dedicate time to extra grooming as I struggle to keep myself clean.
